Ciforus Email

Email that is different on purpose.

A professional @ciforus.com identity inside the live Ciforus privacy app. Messages between Ciforus users use end-to-end encryption, while the mailbox avoids the server-side content index that conventional search depends on.

Built different

Privacy is the starting point, not an inbox setting

Most email products begin with a searchable server-side mailbox and add privacy controls around it. Ciforus begins with a different question: how much does the service actually need to know for the message to move?

The professional address, private route, interface, aliases, and missing server search are not isolated features. They are the visible results of the same product philosophy.

The private route

The gateway carries the message without becoming the reader

Ciforus routes sensitive mailbox operations through a purpose-built gateway layer. It applies delivery and security policy while keeping private content outside routine indexing workflows.

The gateway is part of the route, not an invitation to read the content.
  1. 01

The client starts the private route

Sensitive mailbox actions pass through the Ciforus privacy gateway instead of exposing a raw mailbox interaction path.

  2. 02

    The gateway applies policy

Encryption-aware handling, routing rules, and security controls keep private content outside routine server-side indexing paths.

  3. 03

    Delivery keeps the right boundary

Ciforus-to-Ciforus mail uses the shared cryptographic protocol. External delivery uses interoperable email standards with encrypted transport.

Where end-to-end encryption applies

Ciforus-to-Ciforus email uses the shared Ciforus cryptographic protocol on both sides. Gmail, Yahoo, Proton, and other external providers do not natively process that payload, so cross-provider delivery uses interoperable email standards with strong transport security. The boundary is stated plainly so users know what protection applies to each route.

The interface explains the architecture

Some familiar inbox habits change when the server cannot read everything

The Ciforus mailbox is intentionally not a clone of an advertising-era email product. Its different rhythm and its missing server search both come from the privacy model underneath.

A calmer mailbox built around identity and privacy rather than data extraction.

Different does not mean unfinished

The interface keeps professional identity and private access close to the task. It may feel unfamiliar at first because it is not reproducing every convention of a conventional inbox.

No readable server index means there is no server index to search.

Search is a privacy decision here

Full-text server search usually needs a content-readable index. Ciforus avoids broad server-side indexing of private message bodies, files, and notes, prioritizing encrypted workflows, metadata minimization, and user-controlled access.

Architecture in context

One mailbox, several protection layers

Internal message encryption, platform controls, and user-controlled access address different parts of the communication path. The diagram shows where each layer belongs.

The architecture view separates message encryption, platform controls, and user-controlled access.

What you can do

Privacy controls that remain useful in everyday mail

The architecture matters because it changes ordinary actions: how you identify yourself, how you separate contexts, and how much of your communication history the service can expose.

End-to-end encrypted Ciforus communication

Messages between Ciforus users are encrypted so their content remains available to the people communicating, not the service handling delivery.

Multi-layer encryption architecture

Email works inside the same three-layer architecture used to protect communication, storage, and account-level access across Ciforus.

A professional @ciforus.com identity

Your address is a durable identity for private and professional communication, not a disposable username attached to an advertising profile.

Secure external interoperability

Mail to outside providers follows encrypted transport standards while keeping the Ciforus side of the experience privacy-conscious.

Purpose-specific aliases

Separate personal, public, and professional contexts. Pro and Elite tiers include premium-domain alias options for a cleaner public identity.

Disposable addresses

Use temporary addresses for short-lived or higher-risk registrations, then retire them without exposing your long-term inbox identity.

One connected product

Your email identity does not stop at the inbox

Email works alongside Messaging, Storage, Notes, Wallet Identity, PayLinks, and Security Center. Communication, files, identity, and protection remain connected inside the same live privacy platform.
